Hypercar sourcing

At this level there is no market to browse — only owners, and the question of whether they'd sell. That is a different discipline, and it is ours.

What we source

  • LaFerrari & Aperta

Provenance and Classiche eligibility lead every conversation

  • McLaren P1 & P1 GTR

Battery provenance and service continuity are decisive

  • Porsche 918 Spyder

Weissach Package cars; low-owner examples trade quietly

  • McLaren Senna, Speedtail & Elva

    Usage history verified, never assumed

  • Valkyrie, Jesko, T.50 & Utopia

    New-era hypercars with allocation-holder dynamics

  • F40, F50, Enzo, Carrera GT & Zonda

The analogue icons — bought on file thickness, not photographs

How hypercars change hands

The trinity cars and their successors trade in a market of perhaps a few hundred active participants worldwide. Cars move by approach, not advertisement: a collector known to be consolidating, an estate in settlement, an allocation holder whose new delivery frees an older car. Access to those conversations is the entire game — and it is precisely what a public-facing dealership cannot offer a private buyer.

Provenance at this level is forensic. We establish the complete ownership chain, cross-border VAT and import history, factory service continuity and — on hybrid cars — battery service records, before a client travels to see anything. A hypercar with an ambiguous chapter in its history carries that ambiguity into its next valuation.

Transactions are structured, not shaken on. Escrow arrangements, staged inspections, transport insurance at agreed values and specialist legal review are standard on every mandate we run at this level. The car is exciting; the transaction must be boring.

International by necessity

The right example is frequently not in the UK. We source from Europe, the Middle East, Japan and the US where the car justifies it, and we handle the unglamorous parts — import duty and VAT treatment, IVA where applicable, registration and the practical question of whether a left-hand-drive car suits your use. Sometimes the honest advice is to wait for a UK car. We give it.

What buyers get wrong

  • Confusing asking prices with the market

The hypercars listed publicly at aspirational numbers are, definitionally, the ones nobody has bought. Real clearing prices run through private channels.

  • Buying without battery due diligence

On P1, 918 and LaFerrari, hybrid system history is a six-figure question. It has a documented answer — insist on it.

  • Moving slowly on the right car

Genuine opportunities at this level resolve in days. The preparation — funds, structure, advisors — has to exist before the car appears.

Next step

A conversation first. The search second.

Hypercar mandates begin with an honest discussion of the car, the money and the timeline. Entirely private, entirely without obligation.
